A calmer, happier dog — and a more confident, relaxed you.
Whether it’s guided group hikes or one-on-one training, we help your dog thrive and make life easier for you.
Life with your dog should feel easier-and more enjoyable.
Most dog owners want the best for their dogs… but it’s not always easy. Maybe your dog is full of energy, struggles with listening, or you just don’t have enough time in the day.
That stress adds up — for both of you.
Two ways to give your dog the best life.
Dog Camp: (Guided Group Hike)
For social, dog-friendly pups who crave adventure, Camp offers safe off-leash hikes, structure, and play with friends.
Private Training: Real-Life Skills
For dogs of any age or challenge, we work one-on-one with you to solve unwanted behaviors and build a calmer, more connected relationship. Using play and relaxation, we make training enjoyable and practical — so your dog learns faster and you both have more fun.
Still a Teacher — Just a Different Classroom
Before I led dogs through the woods, I was leading kids in the classroom. Teaching has always been my calling — guiding, coaching, and helping my students succeed.
Now, I’m still a teacher… just in a different classroom, with different students. At Southern Berkshire Dog Camp, I guide groups of dogs as they learn to regulate their emotions, play appropriately, and make good choices on the trail. And in private lessons, I help owners feel more confident, calm, and capable — so they can bring out the very best in their dogs.
For me, every dog becomes part of the family. I get to know their quirks, what makes them happy, and how to help them thrive.
My goal is simple: to give dogs the best life possible — and to make life easier and more joyful for the people who love them.
Imagine life with a calmer, happier dog.
Here’s what life looks like before and after Camp or Training.
Before
Dog pulls on leash
Too much energy at home
Chewing, barking, jumping
You feel guilty, stressed, or frustrated
After
Calm, happy walks
Relaxed dog at home
Better manners & listening
You feel proud, confident, and connected
This is the shift we create at Southern Berkshire Dog Camp — structure, play, and connection that last far beyond the trail.
